Our fabrics use CiCLO® technology, which is based on the addition of an additive during the phase when the polyester is in a molten state, at the beginning of the fiber production process. When synthetic fabrics treated with this additive inevitably shed microfibers and the fibers end up in landfills, soil, seawater, and/or waste treatment facilities, microbes are attracted to the material and can digest the molecules similarly to how they do with naturally biodegradable materials like wool. Additionally, the water-based inks used to customize each fabric make the product even more sustainable.
